Aynor SAE J1939 SIMULATOR

ECU Simulation

ECU Simulation is part of Aynor SAE J1939 Simulator which enables to emulate up to 5 ECU. Each ECU Simulator has its source address and consists of SPN Transmitter and Diagnostic transmitter.

SPN Transmitter

Transmits particular PGNs / SPNs from its source address.

Grouping and filtering

Support for grouping, either built-in and user defined. Enables filtering displayed SPN according to its destination addresses,PGN numbers, activity etc.

Multipacket transport

Supports multipacket PGNs transmitted both in broadcast and connection mode.

Enhanced values editing

SPN values can be edited in built-in editors for analog, digital and byte array values.

Displays all data items (DTC codes or SPNs). Items can be grouped up to three levels.
Top menu enables to control displayed data filtering, to control expanding/collapsing of tree data structure in case data is grouped, to control mass choose of data that are supposed to be transmitted. Part of Top menu are also elements that enables searching in displayed data.
Add SPN panel enables quick adding of SPN to processed data. It is faster method then more complex way that can be invoked from menu TOOLS in Status bar.
Processed data is always displayed in grid. It can be displayed either directly, i.e. one row of grid corresponds to one SPN or DTC, or it can be grouped to data tree according to specific properties. This grouping is provided by Group manager.
PGN label as defined in J1939 standard.
Status bar displays number of data items in component, i.e. number of PGN a SPN or number of DM messages and DTC codes. Contains menu that contains tool for setting component and data items related actions.
Data bytes of PGN that is currently selected in grid.
By pressing this button current (selected PGN) will be send to CAN bus regardless of transmission rate.

DM Transmitter

Diagnostic Transmitter

Transmit diagnostics message DM1 and DM2 (on request) from its source address.

Configuration

Particular parts of main components can be switched on/off, it is possible to choose its color scheme. Active and nonactive items can be distinguished by back color and font properties.
