AYNOR CONTROL

Aynor SAE J1939 SIMULATOR

Aynor SAE J1939 Simulator is a tool which enables to process and simulate data and events on CAN bus, on which takes place SAE J1939 communication. It has two main parts, one reads and displays SAE J1939 communication, while second enables simulation of data transmission of several ECU based on SAE J1939 standard. Particular components and controls of both parts are equipped with rich user interface for data displaying and processing or for communication control according to SAE J1939 standard.

Simulator

J1939 Network

Reads and displays SAE J1939 communication on CAN bus – particular SPNs (SPN Listener)and diagnostic messages DM1 and DM2 (DM Listener). Enables definition of proprietary SPN associated with different source addresses. Searchs all ECUs connected to CAN bus.

ECU simulation

Enables configurate unlimited ECUs to simulate its behavior in CAN bus. Each ECU can be configured to transmit particular SPNs and DM1 or DM2 messages or receive DM3 message.

CAN adapters

Enables connection to CAN bus for each part. Supports Kvaser and PEAK CAN adapters.

Network

SPN Listener

Reads and displays SAE J1939 communication on CAN bus – particular SPNs. Supports several levels of grouping, rich possibilities of setting of user interface, enables request for particular PGN to ECUs connected in CAN bus.

DM Listener

Reads and displays SAE J1939 diagnostic communication on CAN bus – DM1 messages. Displays particular DTC codes or zero faults DM1 messages. Supports several levels of grouping, rich possibilities of setting of user interface, enables request for DM2 message to ECUs connected in CAN bus.

Trace recorder

The simulator allows user to record traffic on CAN bus. Recorded multipacket data can be assembled to corresponding PGN.

Gauges

The simulator allows user to define up to 20 gauges, which can either display the value of the selected SPN or can display textual information based on a set of user-defined conditions.

Proprietary SPN definition

Enables definition of proprietary SPN related to particular source address from which it is transmitted. Definition contains byte and bit position of SPN in PGN data bytes, offset, scale, maximum and minimum.

Undocumented data definition

In case it is necessary to use data that has not yet been described by the J1939 standard, the Simulator allows you to define a description of such data.

Network

Enables send Request for address claim to all or particular ECU connected in CAN bus. Lists all sent responses.

Network

ECU

ECU SPN Transmitter

Reads and displays SAE J1939 communication on CAN bus – particular SPNs. Supports several levels of grouping, rich possibilities of setting of user interface, enables request for particular PGN to ECUs connected in CAN bus.

ECU DM Transmitter

Reads and displays SAE J1939 diagnostic communication on CAN bus – DM1 messages. Displays particular DTC codes or zero faults DM1 messages. Supports several levels of grouping, rich possibilities of setting of user interface, enables request for DM2 message to ECUs connected in CAN bus.
